Viola Francis Jordan

Born in Lynchburg, August 3, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Charlie Headley Francis and Georgia Ladd Francis. She was a homemaker and a member of College Hill Baptist Church. She enjoyed doing for others and was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

She is survived by four children, Vickie J. Wood and husband Fred, E.P. Jordan, Jr., Craig Jordan and wife Cindy and Darryl Jordan and wife Patricia all of Lynchburg and five grandchildren, Stephen Jordan, Chris Jordan and fiancé Kimberly Hoilman, Amber Wood, Zachery Jordan and Corey Jordan.

A service celebrating her life will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, December 31, 2015 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel with the Rev. J. Michael Dodson officiating. Interment will follow in Fort Hill Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at the funeral home.
