Vivian Pribble Greene

She was born on October 26, 1948 in Lynchburg and was the daughter of the late Ollie Pribble and Lucy Callahan Pribble. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Blaine Green.

She was employed for over thirty-five years at J.Crew in Lynchburg where she worked in Quality Assurance. She never met a stranger and was a social butterfly. She loved supporting local musicians and was a member of Salem United Methodist Church.

She is survived by a son, Mickey Lee Greene of Lawrenceville; a daughter, Michelle Glidewell (Buddy); brother Tarry Pribble and his wife Kayla; grandchildren Summer Wilson (Jesse), Lindsey Greene, Brittany Greene and one great-grandchild, Remi.

A celebration of Vivian’s life will be held on Sunday, February 20, 2022 from 2:00 p.m – 6:00 p.m. at the Altavista Moose Lodge, 3463 Lynch Mill Rd, Altavista, VA 24517.
