OBITUARY

William "Billy" Michael Williams

September 4, 1962 – August 6, 2026
Obituary of William "Billy" Michael Williams
IN THE CARE OF

Whitten Timberlake Chapel

William Michael Williams, age 63, of Concord, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 6, 2026.

The family finds great comfort in knowing that Billy developed a personal relationship with God and accepted him as his Savior.

Affectionately known as “Billy”, was born on September 4,1962 in Brooklyn N.Y. He was the second son to the late Roosevelt Bill Williams JR and Gloria Bernice Bartlett Williams.

Billy, at the tender age of 11, moved with his family to Central Islip, N.Y. Billy always was a kindhearted person, often doing errands for many of our seniors in the community. Billy was educated and graduated from Central Islip school district. Billy loved life and was loved by all that knew him. He was a hard worker holding several jobs in NY and GA.

Billy leaves to mourn his mother, Gloria B. Williams, aunts, Linda Bartlett and Debbie Whaley, daughters; Tanisha Williams, Tylisa Williams and Tyshean Williams, grandchildren; Ty’Aire, Tra’Niya, TyTiana and Ty’Jae, siblings; Martin and Cynthia from Virginia, Joyce and William Roper from NY, Michelle and Ishiah Cheese from Virginia and Cynthia Williams in NY. His memory will also be cherished by six nieces and five nephews and a host of family and friends.

I’m free. Don’t grieve for me for now I’m free. I’m following the path God laid for me. If my parting has left a void, then fill it with remembered Joy.

A shared friendship, a laugh, a kiss, oh yes, these things I too will miss. Be not burdened with times of sorrow, I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow. My life’s been full. I've savored much; family, friends, loved ones’ touch.

Lift up your heart and peace to thee. God wanted me now. He set me free!

The family of William M. Williams would like to thank everyone for your prayers, calls, cards, and all expressions of love during our time of bereavement.
