Winnie Frances Beale Green

Winnie Frances Beale Green, 98, of Lynchburg passed away to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Monday, November 23, 2020 at her residence. She was the wife of the late Barty Green. Born in Amelia County, Virginia on March 8, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Arthur Harris and Sarah Emma Harris. She was a retired inspector with General Electric and a member of Thomas Road Baptist Church. In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by a daughter, Sandra Beale White, and a brother, Roger Harris. She is survived by her children, Priscilla Eagle and her husband James of Lynchburg, Roger Beale and his wife Jane of Evington, and Delores Gaye Tielke of Durham, NC; seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be conducted 12:00 pm Monday, November 30, 2020 at Virginia Memorial Park with Pastor Dave Moquin officiating. The family is grateful she is no longer suffering and passed peacefully at home with them by her side as she wished. Winnie suffered for a long time with Alzheimer’s, and the family is grateful she is no longer in pain. Thank you, Lord, for welcoming her into Your Graceful Arms. She can now rest in peace.
