Leroy T. Gray

Leroy T. "Tom" Gray, 74, of Lyndonville, NY peacefully passed away on Thursday, December 15, 2011 in the company of his family at the Medina Memorial Hospital after a long hard-fought battle with cancer.

Tom was a retiree of FMC, dedicating 35 years to the company. In his free time he enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking and Star Trek. Tom took meticulous care of his home and kept a positive attitude, even through years of cancer treatments. Tom felt he had a blessed life and was thankful for his family, who he loved above all else.

Tom is survived by his devoted wife of 54 years, Peggy (Modlin) Gray. He is also missed by his children, Jean Gray and Tom (Dawn) Gray. as well as his five grandchildren, Jessie (Rachel) Macioszek, Jordon Macioszek, Amanda (Justin) McMIllan, Melissa(TJ) Gray and Lee Gray. Tom also leaves behind two great-grandchildren Brayden and Abigail McMIllan,

The family is planning a private graveside service. For those who wish to honor Tom's memory, the family suggests that donations be made in his name to Hospice of Orleans County, PO Box 489, Albion, NY 14411, a compassionate organization that helped Tom and his family greatly in his final months.

Arrangements were made through the Bates and Tuttle Funeral Home, 112 N. Main Street, Lyndonville, NY
