Born on July 18, 1940 in Rochester, NY, he was the son of the late Alfred and Gladys (Howard) Groell.
Raymond worked at Kodak as a Melter, retiring in 1991.
He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Penny Groell, a son, David and his wife Ladda Groell and a daughter, Melissa Florence, all of Ardmore, Alabama, six grandchildren and a great-grandson.
There are no calling hours. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family.
