Born July 31, 1943 in Liberty, Texas to parents Beecher and Nona Warner. Jay entered into eternal rest on March 21, 2022, at the age of 78. Jay was a Marine and served two tours in Vietnam. He was a devoted brother, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. Jay was a member of the Church of Christ in Malakoff, Texas. He spent a good bit of time playing golf with his friends. He retired with the State of Texas.
Jay is preceded in death by Mother and Father, grandson James D. Warner II.
He is survived by sons, Alonzo B. Warner III and James L. Warner; brother, Henry Warner; sisters, Ollie Mayers and Lillie Yeo; grandson, Garrett Warner and wife Stacy; great-grandsons, Levi and Aiden Warner. Jay leaves behind many other loved ones and friends. He will be truly missed.
