Born on May 5, 1966, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Andy was the son of Ronnie Ray Waters, Sr. and Elizabeth Jane Karr Ford.
Andy graduated from high school in Eustace, Texas. He spent most of his adult life residing and working in the Cedar Creek Lake and Dallas areas.
He worked and owned his own handyman business for over 40 years. It is said he could build almost anything from the ground up. He became a father at the age of 28, and later met and married Teri Waters, combining their two families. He was a lover of the outdoors and would often be found fishing, riding a Harley, or grilling. What he is most known for is his love for his family and friends. If you were called "brother man" you were family. He often spent his free time surrounded by his loved ones, rock music playing, a cold beer nearby, and a guitar in his hands.
Andy is preceded in death by his mother, Elizabeth; father, Ronnie; and brother, Keith. Along with his wife of 30 years Teri Waters, he is survived by daughters Cassandra Waters, Courtni Melin, and Ashley Flowers; three sons, Chris Abel and wife, Amanda, Steven Hunter and wife, Judith, and Brandon Hunter; 17 grandchildren; brothers Ronnie Ray Waters, Jr. and Lee John Blackman and wife, Lou; and numerous nephews and nieces.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 3, 2026, at 10 a.m. at Eubank Cedar Creek Funeral Home in Mabank, Texas.
