Mrs. Anna Marie Fowler

Anna was born on April 9, 1925 in Pocatello, ID to parents Pedro Gomez and Anna Marie Chavez and entered into eternal rest on June 26, 2018 at the age of 93. Anna was a master seamstress. Her family was very important to her, she loved her children and grandchildren. She was always ready to watch her grandkids compete in whatever sport they were interested in, whether it be rodeo, football, baseball, basketball or soccer. Anna enjoyed being outside; gardening and working in the yard. She loved canning vegetables from her garden. Anna was a big fan of the Dallas Cowboys and the Texas Rangers. She was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church. Anna was an amazing mother, grandma, great-ma and sister. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Anna was preceded in death by her parents, husband John P. Fowler, brother Ernest Gomez and sister Eloise West.

She is survived by her daughters; Patricia Jackson and husband Jimmy of Royse City, Jodell Brooks and husband Robert Shurtleff of Voca and Shirley Ray and husband Charles of Mabank, grandchildren; Teresa Choate, John Jackson, Boogie Ray, Joel Ray, Ryan Ray, Josh Brooks and Patrick Brooks, 12 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, sisters; Ofelia Leon of Lakewood, CA, Mary Lou Leon of Tustin, CA, Mary Lara of Temecula, CA, Leola Garnica of Orange, CA, brother Ray Gomez of Dallas, numerous nieces and nephews, other loving family members and many more friends.
