Ann Schroeder was born on June 30, 1931 in Chicago, Illinois to parents Edward and Anna (Klinder) Emeritz and entered into eternal rest on January 3, 2020 at the age of 88. Ann moved to Texas with her husband and children in 1962. He was transferred here to work in freight sales. She was born and raised Lutheran, she enjoyed attending church and was a member of LWML. Ann loved all things with nature. She enjoyed going camping and being a Cub Scout Den Mother, as well as an assistant leader in Girl Scouts. Ann enjoyed working with children and helping them. She loved going camping and being outdoors. Ann was very family oriented, enjoyed being a grandmother and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren She always had a smile on her face and she will be missed immensely by those who knew and loved her.
Ann was preceded in death by her parents, brothers; Raymond Emeritz, Edmund Emeritz and Wilbert Emeritz.
She was survived by her daughter Colette Siemrzuch and spouse Richard of Wylie, son Russell Schroeder and spouse D’Ann of Colleyville, daughter Peggy Grover and spouse Joey of Seven Points, grandson Bryan Plemons and spouse Rachel of Keller, grandson Dustin Grover and spouse Leahann of Canton, great-grandsons; Connor and Dante, great-granddaughter Lauren, sister Dalores Emeritz of Chicago, IL, sister-in-law Mary Emeritz of Chicago, IL, niece Judy Siwak of Chicago, IL, nephew Eric Emeritz of Murchison, other loving family members and many more lifelong friends.
