Annette was born on August 5, 1954 in Dallas, Texas to parents Charlie and Helen (Fowler) Slaughter and entered into eternal rest on September 4, 2016 at the age of 62. Annette started working for the IRS while still in high school and then went on to have her own bookkeeping business for 45 years. She loved motorcycles and Native American folk art. Annette is a member of the Legion Riders and held office for several years. She was a member of Gun Barrel City Order of the Eastern Star. Annette was a fun and loving person who will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Annette was preceded in death by her parents, husband Billy Daniel, son-in-law Phillip Coots and sister Mary Slaughter Paul.
She is survived by her daughter Charity Groom and husband Zac of Kemp, son Chase Barnes and wife Krystl of Kemp, daughter Chancie Coots of Eustace, step-daughter Chelesa Wilds of Virginia grandchildren; Ryan and Emory Groom, William and Waylon Coots, Brayden and Lukas Barnes and Kamdyn Wilds, numerous cousins, other loving family members and many more friends.
