Barbara Joyce Swanger, age 81, of Dallas, Texas passed away on Saturday, April 9, 2022. Barbara was born June 26, 1940; in Canton, TX. She was an outgoing and loving woman; who enjoyed going to casinos and adored her cats throughout their lifetime, especially "Tiger". Barbara was Baptist, by faith. She worked as a bookkeeper at a Floral Shop, Barbara once owned the one in Duncanville, TX. Each arrangement she created was masterfully skilled to perfection. In her spare time, she would frequent the Cemetery; paying her respects to those she knew and loved. Barbara was loved and will be truly missed by all of her friends and co-workers.
She is preceded in death by her father, Horace Johnson; and husband, Carroll Swanger.
Barbara is survived by her friend, Ronald Franks of Waxahachie, TX.; along with numerous cousins, other relatives, and friends.
A Graveside service will be held Monday, April 18, 2022 at 1:00pm; located at the Elm Grove Cemetery in Mabank, TX.
