Born on August 26, 1947, in Nutbush, Tennessee, Betty was a daughter of the late Harold Lee Stutts and the late Ruby Nell Medford Stutts.
Betty had nine brothers and sisters. She and her husband were long-time residents of the Cedar Creek Lake area, well known by many. She was the City Secretary of Star Harbor, Texas, for many years.
Betty is survived by her daughter Dana Cornett and her husband Bryan, of Mabank, Texas; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; three sisters; four brothers; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter Twana Roadman; and her brother Robert Stutts.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, at 10 a.m. at Oaklawn Memorial Park in Athens, Texas.
