

Betty Wise was born on November 3, 1936 in Fort Worth, Texas to parents George Washington and Pearl Edith (Smith) Harless and entered into eternal rest on June 19, 2019 at the age of 82. Betty was known as “Mamaw” to most of her family. She enjoyed crocheting, cooking and cleaning. Betty loved playing bingo, cards, sitting on the porch and gardening. She was a big bowler, and had several patches for bowling. Betty loved her animals and enjoyed being around people, especially her family. She was always happy and smiling. Betty had a huge heart. She was an amazing mother, grandmother, sister and friend, who will be missed dearly by all those who knew and loved her.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, husband Buddy Wise, sisters; Lucille Turner, Ina Brown and Frances Jeans and brother Vernon Harless.
She is survived by her sister Peggy Shelton and husband Tim of Larve, TX, brothers; Robert Harless of Grand Prairie and Jimmy Harless and wife Brenda of Irving, granddaughter Shelby Wise and Nicholas Aguuso of Tyler, granddaughter Katy Wise and Andy Hanson of Denton, granddaughter Janice Manska and husband Matt of Flower Mound, granddaughter Cassie Walker and husband Tyler of Oilfield, MO, granddaughter April Harris and husband James of Springfield, MO, 6 great-grandchildren, close friends; Sheila Gonzales of Mabank, Miranda Gonzales of Mabank, Steve, Karen and Shannen Smith of Mabank, Sharon Eurom of Mabank, other loving family members and many more lifelong friends.
