Bradley Scott Baxter, 46, passed away Thursday September 3rd, 2026. He was the loving husband of Lindsay Anne Baxter for almost 24 years and the devoted father to Ashley Anne Dye, (23) and William Scott Baxter (17).
Born January 9th, 1980, in Fort Worth Texas he was the caring son of Donna Leigh Shepherd and younger brother to Brian Almaroad.
He spent time in California growing up but moved to Irving, Texas, where he called home. Bradley began working early in life alongside Bruce Kinnan, who was like a father to him, in an automotive shop. This sparked a lifelong passion for cars. In the late 1990s, he began installing 2-way radios, later expanding into GPS tracking and camera installations. In 2014, he and his wife, Lindsay, established their own business installing GPS and camera systems for fleet vehicles.
He loved cars so much he started working at the Texas Motorplex in 2008 as track crew with his best friend Michael Spurgeon Jr and continued there almost every weekend for 18 years. In 2017, Bradley began his own racing career in his Camaro SS, going on to win five championships between 2017 and 2021 at the Texas Motorplex and XRP, and competing twice at the IHRA World Finals.
A dedicated provider for his family, Bradley built his first home in Heartland, Texas, in 2007, later selling in 2020 to buy his forever home on more land with a shop to hold everything car related that he loved to collect. Brad will truly be missed by all who knew him.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
