Mr. Buddy O. Moore

Buddy O. Moore was born on June 27, 1927 in Slocum, Texas to parents William Moore and Martha Ann Beauchamp and entered into eternal rest on September 27, 2015 at the age of 88. Buddy was known as “PawPaw” by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was close to his family and strong in his faith. Buddy enjoyed bowling and being outdoors; hunting and fishing. He worked as a kiln repairman for over 25 years. Buddy was a faithful member of Phalba Independent Church; where he loved to sing and play guitar. He was a very loving and caring man; who would pray for anyone. Buddy will be missed tremendously by all who knew and loved him.

Buddy was preceded in death by his parents, son David Dean, daughter Jeanette Rodgers, several brothers and sisters.

He is survived by his loving wife Marie Moore of Kemp, son Buddy Wayne Moore of Corsicana, daughter Virginia Garrett and husband Bill of Seven Points, son Jeff Emmons of Gun Barrel City, daughter Janelle Booker and husband Chuck of Ft. Worth, daughter Sue Hart and husband Perry of Mena, AR, brother Bill Moore and wife Mary of Athens, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other loving family members and many more friends.
