

Carol was born on July 4, 1951, in Colorado, to Clara Inez Masterson Wolf and Raymond Lee Wolf. She grew up in Corpus Christi, Texas, and attended Calallen High School. Carol later met her husband Doug at work, where she was a secretary and he was a computer technician.
Carol was a loving wife, sister, mother, aunt, and friend. She was also an amazing MeMe, a role she cherished deeply. She enjoyed spending time with her family, helping others, playing marbles and card games, cooking and baking, and oil painting. Carol was especially known for her delicious food—particularly her bread and pies—and she loved sharing her talent for cooking with her family.
Carol is survived by her siblings, Donna Fogle of Delhi, Texas, and Ray Wolf and wife Glenda of Walker, Louisiana; her children Lance Yager and wife Tandy, with grandchildren Reece and Raygan; Christopher Yager, with grandchild Jacob; Bobby Yager and wife Samantha, with grandchildren Chrissy and Alex; Dee Dee Marcus and husband Jody, with grandchildren Dylan and Deran; Larry Yager and wife Shelly, with grandchildren Justin and Josh; and grandson Ethan Yager, with great-grandchild Nova. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Carol was preceded in death by her mother, Clara Inez Masterson Wolf; her father, Raymond Lee Wolf; her husband, Robert Douglas Yager; and her youngest son, Eric Lee Yager.
Visitation will be held at Eubank Cedar Creek Funeral Home, on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, from 6 pm to 7 pm, and again on January 22, 2026, from 2 pm to 2:30 pm. The funeral service will take place at Eubank Cedar Creek Funeral Home on Thursday, January 22, 2026, at 2:30 pm. Interment will follow the service at Eubank Cedar Creek Memorial Park in Mabank, Texas.
