Charles Leo Beasley, age 81, of Mabank, Texas passed away on Thursday, April 21, 2022. Charles was born November 25, 1940 in Hamburg, Iowa; to parents, Joseph Carl Beasley and Margaret Trivelpiece. His family moved from Iowa as a child, and he grew up in southern California; where he enjoyed team roping with his father, brother, and sister. One of his fondest memories was winning the team roping competition with his brother in the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, CA. Immediately following high school, he began working for his father at Carl Beasley Oldsmobile/Rambler in Santa Paula, CA. As a Marine Corps Veteran, Charles proudly served his country for many years. He was a passionate fan of the Dodgers, Rams, and Trojans. Charles moved his family to Texas in 1977, where he continued his successful career in the car business. Along the way he held many positions such as Owner, General Manager, and Used Car Manager. He also became a loyal fan of the Rangers, Cowboys, and Longhorns. Charles was a caring and doting father and grandfather, who loved spending time with his family. Christian by faith, Charles attended the First United Methodist Church of Rockwall, TX. Charles was adventurous and skilled; he was an avid fisherman, and later in life enjoyed playing golf. Charles will be truly missed by all of those he knew and met.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Carl Beasley and Margaret Trivelpiece; as well as his loving wife, Annell Beasley.
Charles is survived by his sons, Dan Beasley and his wife Karen of Ojai, CA., Todd Beasley and wife Julie of Mabank, TX.; grandchildren, Louie Beasley of Ojai, CA., Haley Smith and husband Dalton of Tyler, TX., Katie Beasley of Ojai, CA., and Dalton Beasley of Stephenville, TX; sister, Kay Udave and husband Art of Shelby Township, Michigan; and brother, Don Beasley of Round Rock, TX.; along with several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A Graveside service will be held 2:00 PM, May 6, 2022, in the Eubank Cedar Creek Memorial Park. The Family will receive friends from 1:00PM to 1:30PM at Eubank Cedar Creek Funeral Home prior to service.
