Charles Russell Easley was born on January 26, 1938 to Arrell and Ruby Easley in Mabank, Texas. He entered eternal rest at the age of 82 in Palestine, Texas on September 9, 2020. After graduating from Mabank high school, he married the love of his life Margaret Anne. They enjoyed a wonderful marriage of 63 years. Charles enjoyed working and was a business owner, pilot and a rancher. Charles really liked to fly and flew extensively for his business. The highlight of Charles’ week was when he got to fly home and work on the family ranch. Operating the farm equipment was something he loved to spend time doing. Charles also loved entertaining family and friends and always appreciated a good home cooked meal. He loved to travel and enjoyed collecting antique cars in his spare time. Charles was preceded in death by his loving wife Margaret, his parents and his bother Ralph Hudspeth. He is survived by his son Scott Easley and his wife Hallie; his grandson Charles Maverick Easley, his grand-daughter Kimberly Anne Parsons and husband Michael Andrew; his sisters Janie Vance, Willa Walker and husband Cotton, Carolyn Bowen and his brother Kenneth Easley and wife Carol.
