Charlie G. Stone, of Mabank, was born on October 2, 1953 in Van Zandt County, Texas to parents Lester and Georgie (Gordon) Stone and entered into eternal rest on August 21, 2014 at the age of 60. Charlie graduated from Mabank High School and through life attended all their football games. He was their #1 fan. Charlie loved fishing and all kinds of sports. He enjoyed drawing and working on model cars. Charlie worked in the farming industry for over 30 years. He was Baptist by faith and was a member of The Central Baptist Church. Charlie was a gentle loving man who will be missed by all who knew him.
Charlie was preceded in death by his parents and brother Carroll Stone.
He is survived by his brothers; Larry Stone and wife Pat of Mabank, Ronnie Stone and wife Vera of Aley, sister Deborah Pierce and husband Willie of Waco, other loving family members and many more friends.
