Christie Pace

Christine was born on February 25, 1960 in Lubbock, TX to parents James Kenneth and Josephine R. (Ficarro) McCain and entered into eternal rest on June 11, 2016 at the age of 56. Christine was known as Christie by her family and friends. She was strong in her faith, and loved her family and children. Christie worked in Real Estate in several different aspects, prior to her illness. She loved watching HGTV and decorating, as well as reading cookbooks and cooking. She had strength beyond measure and unmatched courageousness. Christie was always full of joy and compassion; uplifting and an inspiration to others. Against all odds, Christie, put the joys of others first and was completely selfless. She always had a smile on her face and was the true definition of a warrior. Christie was Christian by faith and was a member of Beacon Church of Christ in Mabank, TX. She was an amazing woman who will be missed tremendously by those who loved and knew her.

Christie was preceded in death by her father James Kenneth McCain.

She is survived by her mother Jody McCain of Gun Barrel City, son Dustin Pace of Houston, son Derek Pace of Seven Points, son Drew Pace of Lubbock, sister Sherry Pritchard of Lubbock, niece Shelby Pritchard of Lubbock, niece Jordan Pritchard of Lubbock, Robert Pace of Tyler, grandson Tylar Pace of Abernathy, TX, other loving family members and many more friends.
