Christine May Good

Christine May Good, age 85, of Gun Barrel City, Texas passed away on Wednesday, July 20, 2022. Christine was born May 20, 1937; to parents, Elmer Wadlow and Florence Cesna. On June 7, 1957, Christine married the love of her life, James Good in Witchita, Kansas. They met at Central College and had 59 wonderful years together, until he entered into eternal life on October 7, 2016. She was a loving and doting mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother; who loved spending time with her family. Her family and her dog, Lilly were her life! Christine was adventurous and outgoing, she was friendly and loved pleasing others. Christian by faith, Christine attended the Church of Nazarene. Her presence was uplifting to anyone she came in contact with, she loved to sing and shop. Christine will be truly missed by all of those she met and knew in her lifetime.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Elmer Wadlow and Florence Cesna; her loving husband, James Good; sisters, Darda Broadbooks, Eleanor Buchanan, and Esther Wible.

Christine is survived by her daughter Tammy Alexander of Gun Barrel City, TX.; granddaughter, Traci Dyer and her husband, Russell of Mabank, TX.; great-grandchildren, Becca Dyer of Pearsall, TX., Zack Dyer of Mabank, TX.; along with several other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday, August 6, 2022 at 11:00am; located at the Church of Nazarene, officiated by Ed Schauer.
