Mack Williams, 88 of Canton, Texas passed away on June 11, 2026 in Tyler, Texas. He will forever be remembered as a loving husband, father, and friend to all who knew and loved him. He was born in Dallas, Texas November 23, 1937 to Edward Clyde and Sarah Williams.

Mack graduated from Seagoville High School in 1955, after attending school in Rylie, Texas. After graduation he worked in Dallas before joining the Army in 1959 and was sent overseas to Bad Kreuznach, Germany obtaining the rank of Spc. 4, 517 Medical Company. He told people he was "Radar" in the office. He retired as an architect for STB Architects in Dallas. His many hobbies included his love for the outdoors, fishing, gardening, raising chickens, parrots, and camping.

Mack and Linda recently celebrated their "61st" wedding anniversary, they were married on May 8, 1965 in Dallas, Texas at Tyler Street Methodist Church.

He is survived by his wife Linda, daughter Lisa Thomas & David Goodwin; Brother-in-law, Lee Lewis & wife Christie; Sister-in-law Glenda Williams, and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death were his brothers, Clarence, Dan and Larry Williams and sisters Mary Mullins, Edith Hardin, Fay Hatch, Pat Friedrich, Doris Willis and Son-in-Law Kenneth Thomas.

Graveside services are pending cooler weather.
