Danny Lee McRay
December 6, 1979 – December 1, 2018
Danny Lee McRay was born on December 6, 1979 in Dallas, Texas to parents Rick and Michelle (Davis) McRay and entered into eternal rest on December 1, 2018 at the age of 38. Danny graduated from Farmersville High School in 1998. He was self-employed, owning his own tower company for the last 6 years. Danny was just a big ole’ teddy bear. He was loving, giving and had a huge heart of gold. Danny was also wild, crazy and hilarious. He loved the work he did and took pride in his business. Danny liked to play hard; hunting, riding atv’s, gambling, playing cornhole and cooking crawfish. He was also a member of Swamp Ninjas. Danny married the love of his life, Jenna Jackson, in Las Vegas on October 6, 2018. He was an amazing husband, father, son, brother and uncle. Danny will be missed tremendously by those who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his loving wife Jenna McRay of Kemp, sons; Austin McRay, Jacob McRay and Payton McRay, daughter Lexi McRay, mother Michelle McRay of Kemp, father Rick McRay of Kemp, brother Matt McRay and wife Jennifer of Royse City, nephews; Chris McRay and Andrew Carol, niece Katelynn McRay, other loving family members and many more friends.

To Michelle and husband as well as all family members and friends of Danny. I did not know Danny even though I am his great uncle, uncle to his mother, Michelle and brother to his grandmother, Martha. I have not ceased praying for God's comfort to all who are grieving Danny's passing. Thank God for the hope of resurrection. Thank God that our hope goes beyond this brief earthly sojourn. I extend my deepest sympathies to all of you as your pain and loss weigh heavily upon your hearts. May the peace of God and his son Jesus Christ be with you all. lovingly, Larry Davidson

Mama and i remember all of the proud things that Michelle said about Danny when he was a boy. It is unfortunate that are families are no longer as close as they used to be, but the love and support of our family to yours is still very real. Please accept our condolences and support during this very tragic and sorrowful event in your lives. Our prayers are with you.

On behalf of everyone here at Brinson PowerSports of Athens, I would like to offer my deepest condolences to the family! Danny was an EXCELLENT guy! He started off as a customer of mine and very quickly turned into a good friend! It was always fun to see him come in looking for his next toy because we KNEW the next time we saw it we wouldn't recognize it! He had a wild imagination when it came to his side x sides! We have had many laughs at the dealership and away! I had just ran into him at our kid's school for the Donuts With Dad and he had that smile that he always had! I only had the luxury of knowing Danny over the last 3 years and I can tell you that it wasn't enough! It truly hurts my heart to know that the world is without him now! He will be missed for sure. God's speed my dear friend! - Brad Boyd

Our sincere thoughts and prayers are with the McCray family. Danny always displayed a strong work ethic. I got to know Danny when I worked at T-Mobile here in the Dallas area and quickly learned of Danny's willingness to lend a hand and to help others out however needed. One could rely on Danny to answer and respond 24/7. Danny took pride in his work and he showed tremendous dedication. There are countless examples when Danny would do what it took to help get cellular service restored for literally thousands of customers in North Texas when there were outages. Often, this work was done after hours, during the night and on weekends. Those survivors of Mr. McCray can be assured that Danny leaves a solid reputation of one that would do what it took to get the job done. So many of us in the wireless industry benefited from his many, many years of work and service. Thank you Danny. May God bless the McCray family. - Brian Wing and family
