Born on November 29, 1964, in Dallas, Texas, Darren was a son of David Francis Brown and Sharon Yvone Fuller Brown.
He was a member of Wildwood Independent Baptist Church where he served as music director for several years and helped out wherever needed. His faith and relationship with his Savior meant everything to him. And he loved his church family.
He was preceded in death by his father, David Brown and his brother, Tim Brown.
Along with his wife, Dorothy Brown, and mother, Sharon, he is survived by his brother, Warren Brown and wife, Angel; brother-in-law, Anthony Grillett; sons Caleb Brown of Kerrville, Ethan Brown of Dallas, and Weston Brown of Eustace; daughters Adonda Phelps of Eustace and Danielle Hamm of Lufkin; several nephews and nieces as well as great nephews and nieces; he also had eight grandchildren who meant more to him than life itself.
The memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at 2 p.m. at Wildwood Baptist Church.
