Deborah was an avid church goer when she had a good church to worship at, she was Baptist by faith. She spent most of her younger years being the pastor’s wife and hosting bible studies for the children’s church at Wintergreen Baptist Church in Mesquite, TX. She enjoyed bible studies and a good crossword puzzle.
She encountered many friends throughout her life but the one main friend that she made was her dearest friend Patterson Ellis Wells. They became close and he helped her understand how the dying process worked and helped her come to not be afraid to pass over in the next life. She will always be grateful for the friendship that they shared.
Deborah was a family orientated women. She raised her 4 children and then she raised her 3 grandchildren and even helped raise her great grandchildren. It did not matter how much money or expensive things you waved around her, all she wanted was the family to be together and a cup of coffee. Her favorite past time was watching soap operas and texting her friends. She will be truly missed and will continue to live on in our hearts.
