Donald Ray Buckley

Donald “Donnie” R. Buckley was born in East Liverpool, Ohio on June 13, 1953 to parents Eugene Raymond “E.R.” Buckley and Wilma Gene Finch. Donnie entered into eternal rest on July 15, 2020 at the age of 67, with Vicki, his loving wife and best friend of 35 years. He had four daughters and one son. He worked as an appliance technician for many years while his children were growing up. Once they left home Donnie found his true passion as a truck driver, which led him to work for several trucking companies through the years. Many times, you would find him making cross country trips with his wife, Vicki. He loved nothing more than to be on the road listening and laughing to music and to his favorite westerns. He was an amazing husband, father, brother, and PopPop as his grandkids refer to him. Donnie is preceded in death by his parents Eugene and Wilma. He is survived by his beloved wife of 35 years, Vicki Buckley of Mabank; his siblings Lonnie, James, Robert, and Audra Buckley; His children, Jeff Buckley and wife Charlotte, Michelle Espinosa and husband Pete, Kelley Buckley, Shelley Duffer and husband Donnie, and Stacie Messina; His grandchildren, Madison, Bethany, Christopher, Aaron, Austin, Hannah, Alexis, and Logan; and his four great-grandchildren. Donnie lived a full life filled with a large family and community of friends who loved him dearly. He will be deeply missed by all.
