I loved listening to your stories even if you already told it to me it never got old. The 5am adjustments, the smile, and the lord message you always shared with me. I'm so glad you got to meet Ian and he loved his adjustments. He look forward to seeing you and the candy jar. You will be missed and we are happy you are in a better place. We love you papa.

Uncle Donald was a great man that I wished I could have spent more time with. Being in N.C. and being born so much later than my siblings, I didn’t get to see Uncle Donald often but when I did, I always enjoyed it and could tell how loving of a man he was. My daddy always looked forward to seeing his twin brother and they always enjoyed their time together as you can tell on the pictures here on the tribute movie. I’m sure they are together again now along with Uncle Pete and Uncle Ernie. Thoughts and prayers go out to all of Uncle Donald’s children, grandchildren, and other loved ones.

When I think of PawPaw Peele , I think of a God fearing man that has run the race and finish his course to earn his wings
There was never a time that he never failed to ask about my children and about MY Wife (Angie Tuley) and how they were doing and how their jobs were going. I could not have ask for a more caring and precious soul that loved EVERY one of his FAMILIES and always told me he LOVED me with his voice and hug
I will miss our talks and seeing his PROUD face at OUR family functions

Love ya PawPaw

You can now rest to WALK THE STREETS OF GOLD

Don came into my life almost 41 years ago when he married my Nanny (Nellie). He came into an established family that welcomed him with open arms. He never considered us anything, but his grandkids/kids and we considered him our Granddad/Dad. The word step has never crossed my lips when talking about this amazing man. If there was ever a man, other than Jesus himself, that could walk on water he could. I have never heard him utter a negative word about anyone. I have never seen him get angry with anyone, except for the time he got mad at my brother Marquis for getting Nanny’s makeup all over the house when he was younger. He used to walk me to school every day after we would watch the Three Stooges of course. He took me to wrestling matches at the Sportatorium. I can’t remember a weekend as a child that I wasn't spending time with my Nanny and Don, even when they lived with us while moving to Louisiana. If it wasn’t buy the Grace of God and Don Peele, my family wouldn’t have gotten into church. I will miss his smile and his sweet spirit, God couldn’t have given me a better man to be my Granddad. I love you Don and I will see you again when my time on earth is done.

When I think of Uncle Don, the first things that come to mind are his big grin, his great personality, and his love for the Lord. There have been many memories over the years. All of them are fond ones that I will continue to cherish but right now I am remembering how much I loved it when the uncles would come for a visit. All 5 brothers would sit around the kitchen table and tell stories of their childhood. Each one telling something on the others. It was really a special time.
Today, we are sad and I am particularly burdened by the fact that we cannot make the trip from North Carolina to be with family. Please know that we love you and are with you in spirit. We are praying for the Lord's comfort and strength to surround you during this difficult time.
Even though we are sad, I can't help smiling as I picture Uncle Don, Daddy, Uncle Wayne, and Uncle Ernie sitting around a kitchen table somewhere in heaven catching up on old times.

Met Dr Peele at the gym. He always had a smile and a good word to share with me on every visit. He loved riding the stationary bike. He was always visiting while he took care of his chores. He is definitely missed. A very good man and follower of Jesus Christ.

My grandfather, or as I called him, "Pop," was an amazing human. The way he carried himself each day, the way he took time to say hello to everyone, and his never-ending ability to help anyone that needed it. His smile was infectious, you couldn't help but to be in a good mood when you were in the presence of Pop. He cared deeply for not only those close to him but even the people he might encounter on a daily basis. I can't recount how many times someone told me that they ran into Pop at Whataburger or McDonalds and he just talked highly of his grandkids and was proud of them all. While I want to be selfish and see my Pop when I walk into the gym, I know he is now home and dancing with his wife and the Lord. Take care Pop, see you soon.
