Rev. Donald Crisp Teague was born on July 1, 1939 to parents Eva Lorine and Tosh Teague. He entered into eternal rest on December 16, 2021 and is now celebrating with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Donald grew up in Dallas and graduated from W.W. Samuell High School in 1958. He worked for the U.S. Postal Service for 25 years, then went into the ministry. Don served as Pastor of the Weston Baptist Church, Roddy Baptist Church and Prairieville Baptist Church before going into training to become a Funeral Director and Embalmer. He continued to serve his community once more by working at Eubank Cedar Creek Funeral Home for 21 years as well as the Chaplain for the Mabank Fire Department for several years, before his retirement in 2013.
Don and Diana are members of Grace Community Church in Mabank and have always been strong in their faith and lived a life of service to others. Don loved our Lord Jesus Christ and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Don was preceded in death by parents, Eva and Tosh Teague; first wife, Celia Faye (Daniel) Teague and daughter, Donna Lorine Teague. He is survived by his beloved wife Diana Teague; sons, Michael Daniel Teague, John William Teague and wife Jackie; daughter, Rebecca Ann Teague and Michael Clevenger; grandchildren, Nathan Andrew Teague, Joshua Earl Teague, William Thomas Teague, Jordan Celia Upthegrove and husband Josh, Maggie Jane Teague, Riley Shae Clevenger, Madisyn Grace Clevenger, Hunter Cheyenne Clevenger; great-grandchildren, Cane and Pressli; as well as sister, Dianne Butler and husband David. Don leaves behind many other loved ones and life long friends.
Visitation for Mr. Teague will be held at Eubank Cedar Creek Funeral Home in Mabank on Monday, December 20, 2021 from 6-8 PM in the chapel. Funeral Services will be held at Grace Community Church on 10:00 AM, Tuesday, December 21, 2021, in Mabank, Texas
