Edgar Eugene Rawdon was born November 20, 1943 in Dallas to parents Thomas Lindsey and Jesse Lee (Lucas) Rawdon and entered into eternal rest on September 29, 2016 at the age of 72. Gene was the kind of man that never met a stranger. He was a comedian and motorcycle rider who enjoyed fishing, family vacations, playing the guitar and singing. Gene was a loving caring man who will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Gene was preceded in death by his parents, wife Ive Rawdon, brothers; Ronnie and David Rawdon, sister Flo Rawdon, and great-grandson S.J. Rawdon.
He is survived by; brother Lonnie Rawdon of Round Rock, sister Sue Renteria of Whitton, daughter Jessie Murray and Shane of Kemp, son J. R. Rawdon and Donna of Mabank, daughter Michelle Alsup and Jimmy of Kaufman, son Alvin Rawdon of Dallas, son Dewayne Keltner of Mabank, grandkids; Tooter, Stacy, Dylan, Lucas, Amity, Erin, Rylie, Dixie, Angela, Kathy, other relatives and many more friends.
