George Wilcox passed from this life on October 22, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on January 9, 1930, in Monitor, Michigan to Charles and Mary. Following school, George joined the US Air Force and proudly served this nation for 4 years. He was a very happy person who loved to tell jokes making others smile. After the military, George worked as a minister, children’s minister and volunteer fire chief. Much of his career was perfected in warehouse maintenance and construction before his retirement.
He is preceded in death by his loving parents: father, Charles; mother, Mary; brothers: Chuck, Gene; sisters: Virginia, Minnie.
George is survived by the love of his life, Marie his wife of 71 years sons: Bill and spouse, Dee, Bob and spouse, Pam, Dave and spouse, Mariana, Dale and spouse, Jose; daughters: MaryBeth and spouse, Keith, Sally and spouse, Steve; 13 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
