

Glenda N. Butler was born on January 21, 1939 in Abbott, Texas to parents Jesse and Effie (Halford) Hulme and entered into eternal rest on August 6, 2017 at the age of 78. Glenda was an amazing lady and excelled in anything she did. She married the love of her life in Durant, OK on June 9, 1969. Glenda loved being a mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was the toughest little woman in the world and she took care of her family. Glenda worked at St. Regis Paper Company in Dallas for 30 years. She loved quilting, fishing, dominoes and playing cards. Glenda was a part of the China Grove Baptist Church Ladies Quilting and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Gun Barrel City. She was an exceptional lady who will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Glenda was preceded in death by her parents, granddaughters; Casi and Staci Huckabay, sister Christine Davis and brother-in-law Lonzo Butler.
She is survived by her loving husband Richard Butler of Payne Springs, son Edward Sebastian of Ben Wheeler, daughter Cindy Lee and husband Bruce of Kemp, daughter Vicki Sebastian and husband Neal Harsh of Gun Barrel City, grandchildren; Traci, Andy, Anesia, Robert and Stephanie, 8 great-grandchildren, sister Francis McMahan of Alvin, sister-in-law Pauline Henry and husband Silas of Caney City, OK, sister-in-law Martha Butler of New Boston and sister-in-law Gaylene Adair and Jerry Don of Caddo, OK, several nieces and nephews, other loving family members and many more friends.
