
Helen Pruitt was born on March 25, 1942 in Watson, OK to parents George W. and Nora Lee (McDonald) Pruitt and entered into eternal rest on February 24, 2017 at the age of 74. Helen was a great mom; she loved to cook and always thought of her family. She enjoyed knitting, making blankets and made fishing lures. Helen enjoyed being outdoors fishing, traveling and loved watching her western movies. She always sent out Christmas and birthday cards, that’s something she never forgot. Helen had her own opinion and her opinion was always right. She was Baptist by faith and was a very loving and caring lady who will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Helen is preceded in death by her parents, sister Phyllis Nixon and brother Jimmy Pruitt.
She is survived by her son Billy Crenshaw and wife Pamela of Arlington, son Jimmy Pruitt and wife Michelle of Gainesville, granddaughter Rachel Crenshaw and Aaron Johnson of Burleson, grandson Robert Crenshaw of Ft. Worth, grandson Ryan Crenshaw and wife Jovana of McAllen, grandson Jimmy Pruitt of Greenville, grandson Josh Branscum of Gainesville, granddaughter Vanessa Fowler and husband Matt of Gainesville, granddaughter Ashley Pruitt of Gainesville, granddaughter Kadena Holiday of Kansas, granddaughter Niki Whyted and husband Matthew of Bells, 13 great-grandchildren, brother Kenneth Pruitt and wife Vivian, brother Herman Pruitt and wife Janice, brother Pete Pruitt and wife Judy, brother Dennis Pruitt, sister Wanda Collins, sister Marlene Reed, many nieces and nephews, other loving family members and many more friends.
