Henry Claude Bicknell, age 82, of Athens, Texas passed away on Saturday, October 2, 2021. Henry was born August 14, 1939 to parents, John Bicknell and Norma Roberson. He proudly served his country as a Navy Soldier, retiring as a Vietnam Veteran after 23 years. Henry was affiliated with the VFW in Athens, as well as the American Legion. With all of his commitments, Henry made time for golfing; he golfed all over the world from Dubai to Europe.

Henry Bicknell is preceded in death by his parents, John Bicknell and Norma Roberson; sisters, Peggy Harmon and Madonna Stefan; children, Mark Bicknell and Jo Ann Bicknell. He is survived by his sons, Hank Bicknell Jr., and Frankie Bicknell; sisters, Sandra Ammerman and Eileen Roberts; and brother, Johnnie Bicknell; along with 13 grandchildren. Henry will be greatly missed by all of those he had ever met and loved.

A Celebration of Life will be held in the Chapel at Eubank Cedar Creek Funeral Home on Monday, October 18, 2021 at 10:00am; officiated by Reverend Teddy King.
