

Born on June 8, 1941, in Italy, Texas, she was a daughter of the late Ernest Bratcher and the late Beulah Moore Bratcher.
The things that meant the most to her has always been her family. She was the neighborhood mom baking chocolate chip cookies for all her kids and their friends to snack on during the summer. Once everyone grew up and moved out, If she wasn’t sitting in her recliner crocheting a new blanket for one of the kids or even someone she had just met, cooking a big plate of fried chicken and a pan of peach cobbler, you would always find her at a sporting event watching one of her grandkids playing their sport of choice and loving every minute of it.
Along with her husband and parents, Hilda was preceded in death by a son David Ivey; and a grandson Danny McRay.
She is survived by her children Rick McRay and wife, Michelle, Roy McRay, and Dana Ivey; grandsons Matt McRay and wife, Jennifer, Colton Anderson and wife, Kristen, and Jacob Shannon and wife, Sabrina; great-grandchildren Austin McRay, Jacob McRay, Christopher McRay and wife, Hannah, Andrew Carroll, Katelynn McRay, Easton Anderson, Ember Anderson, Brooklynn Mitchell, and Damen Asbill; and great-great-grandchildren Waylon and Westin McRay.
The family will receive friends on Monday, August 25, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Eubank Cedar Creek Funeral Home in Mabank, Texas. A funeral service will be conducted on Monday August 25, 2025, at 1 p.m. at Eubank Cedar Creek Funeral Home. Interment will follow the service at Merit Cemetery in Merit, Texas.
