Ida Carlisle Ruckman was born on August 21, 1963 in Corsicana, Texas to parents J.L. and Ruby (Capps) Carlisle and entered into eternal rest on December 10, 2017 at the age of 54. Family and friends knew Ida as “Baby Ida”. She graduated from Odessa High School. Ida loved everyone and children more than anything in the world. She enjoyed crocheting, making blankets and picture frames. Ida like playing Bingo and card games at the nursing home. Ida loved playing the piano, listening to gospel music and reading her Bible. Her favorite color was purple. She was Christian by faith. Ida was an amazing person who was loved by many. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Ida was preceded in death by her father J.L. Carlisle and sister Janet Bryan.
She is survived by her daughter Courtney Ruckman of Tool, son Trevor Ruckman of Lubbock, mother Kat Carlisle of Mabank, brother Johnny Carlisle of Mabank, brother Jody Carlisle of Dallas, sister Lisa Carlisle of Lubbock, nieces and nephews; Andrea Adams, Jayme Carlisle, Harold J. Hall, Jody Jr. Carlisle, Jeremy Carlisle, Johnathan Bryan, Rebecca Bryan, Shea Hall, Jarrod Carlisle and Emily Carlisle, several great-nieces and nephews, other loving family members and many more friends.
