Mrs. Fern Moore

Ina Fern Moore was born on April 10, 1937 in Queen City, Texas to parents Bonney Rigdon and Annas (Lambert) Graham and entered into eternal rest on July 3, 2020 at the age of 83. Ina was known as “Fern” to all her family and friends. She graduated Lubbock High School in 1955. Fern married the love of her life, Don Moore, in Dallas, Texas in 1957. She went to work as a school teacher for Eustace ISD. Fern was active in her community; helping others to learn English as their second language, being a member of Eastern Star and even receiving an award for Citizen of the Year at Purtis Creek. She lived in the Eustace community for over 50 years. Fern was an amazing teacher, who touched the lives of many students. She was a loving mother, grandmother and sister. Fern will be missed immensely by her family and friends. Fern was preceded in death by her parents, husband Don Moore and sister Ruth Pettigrew. She is survived by her two sons; James Walter Moore of Seven Points and Jerry Wayne Moore of Gun Barrel City, granddaughter Melissa Spring of Gun Barrel City, brother Royce Graham and wife Betty of Clifton, TX, sisters; Essie Adams of Mabank and Bonnie Faye Graham of California, other loving family members and many more lifelong friends.
