Born on September 11, 1954 in Dallas, TX, James was a son of the late Donald Edward Boland and Virginia Ilene Moyle.
James "Jim" Boland, a master electrician and proud member of the National Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW), passed away peacefully. With a dedicated career spanning over 50 years as a member of IBEW Local 20, Jim's commitment to his brotherhood was evident in every aspect of his life. He felt honored to have traveled across the country, working alongside many of his union brothers, forming lifelong bonds.
Jim's love for motorcycles, particularly Harley Davidsons, was well-known to all who had the pleasure of speaking with him. His passion for rebuilding his motorcycle, which he kept in storage, was a testament to his dedication and love for these iconic machines. Equally passionate about Rock and Roll music, Jim's enthusiasm for life and his interests were evident.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Hospice Plus. The compassionate care provided by their staff brought comfort and peace to Jim and his family during a difficult time. A special thank you is extended to his nurses, Harmony, Sherri, and Jessie, whose dedication and kindness made a significant difference in their lives.
Jim's legacy of hard work, passion, and love for his brotherhood, motorcycles, his family, and music will be cherished and remembered by all who knew him. He will be deeply missed.
