James Allen Fults of Gun Barrel City, aka Gangan, was born July 10, 1946 to Herschel and Laverne Fults. James passed away on August 22, 2020 with his family by his side. James is preceded in death by his parents, Herschel and Laverne Fults, and his wife Hazel, which he married in July of 1971. He is survived by his son Kelly Nallie, brother Jesse Fults and wife Shirley, and their daughter Tracy Gibson and her husband Tommy. James is also survived by his two granddaughters, Samantha Chaney and Kelsey Brown along with 3 great-grandchildren Madison DeVries, Mason DeVries, and Sloane Chaney. James also leaves behind many other family members that loved him dearly. After graduating from college James began his career in the insurance industry until his time of retirement. He was well respected and loyal to his career. James enjoyed traveling with his wife Hazel, as well as hunting and fishing with his friends and
family. Each morning he relaxed sitting out on his back patio overlooking the lake while he had his morning coffee. Family was everything to him, he looked forward to trips to the farm to visit his mom and dad. James was a selfless man, there wasn’t a time when he didn’t put others before himself. As he always sang, “to know me is to love me”, and that was the truth. Every person he came into contact with couldn’t help but love him. He will be dearly missed. He is now rejoicing in heaven with his bride, awaiting his family.
