

James R. Pellman was born August 13, 1933 in Detroit, MI to parents Vincent and Ruth (Clark) Hummeman and entered into eternal rest on October 1, 2016 at the age of 83. James served in the National Guard 49th Armor Division, 156 Tank Battalion out of Fort Hood, Texas. James’ CB handle was “Meathead” and he enjoyed watching the Cowboys, Dancing with the Stars and being a handyman. He worked his way up at P & H Packing retiring after 28 years then for Mayco where he installed kitchen equipment for 10 years. James was a loving caring man that will be missed by all who knew him.
James was preceded in death by his parents, brother John Vincent Pellman, wife Joyce, daughter Judy Davidson and brother-in-law Jack Huffman.
He is survived by sons; Jerry Pellman and Gena of Coppell, Jeff Pellman and Carla of Crandall, brothers; Terry Pellman and Sallie of Mabank, Bobby Pellman and Rosalie of Pottsboro, William Verne and Merry of Wasilla, Alaska, sister Susan Huffman of Prairieville, grandsons; Josh Davidson and Sachiko of Pflugerville, Todd Pellman, Jared Pellman of Rockwall, granddaughters; Janice Swope of Woodbridge, VA, Melanie Pellman of Austin, traveling physicians; Heather Means and Ty, 7 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many more friends.
