James Eugene Rushing was born in Dallas on April 3, 1940 to S.J. and Alma Rushing. He died peacefully on October 18, 2015 in Kemp, TX at the age of 75. Jim was a retired State Farm Insurance Agent having served the Dallas area for 38 years. He was a lifelong member of Oak Cliff Assembly of God Church.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Margie, other survivors include his children; James E., Jr. of Phoenix, AZ; J. Edward and wife Donna of Newtown, PA; Jack E. and wife Cheryl of Waxahachie; John E. and wife Sharon of Grapevine; Mona Craig and husband Alan of Henderson. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; Kenny Fautt, Caylee Rushing, Lacy Arthur, Tyler Rushing, Connor Rushing, Seth Rushing, Zachary Rushing, Jordan Rushing, Sierra Rushing, Keith Becker, Adam Rushing, Dylan Craig, and Carson Craig, and 3 great-grandchildren.
