Jay was born in Dallas Tx on January 31, 1962, to Ralph and Eunice ( Mickey ) Wallace.
Jay spent his childhood in Mesquite, but later discovered the place that he would call home, Cedar Creek Lake in 1979.
Jay loved the lake life! Always enjoying the water. He also loved to spend time with family and friends, everyone knew J-Bird. Jay worked at TMS for the better part of his life. Jay once told me that he would never leave Caney City Tx, and he was true to his word he loved everything about that place. Including Jill ( Wife ).
Jay is preceded in death by his Father Ralph Wallace and Mother Eunice Wallace.
He is survived by his Wife Jill Thomas, Brother Donald ( Tex ) Wallace, Sister Ruth Wallace- Moser. And several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial service will be held at Elm Grove cemetery on Saturday June 6, 2026 at 10:00.
