
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Jenny Linn Whitman, age 41, a beloved daughter, sister, mother and friend. She was born on January 19, 1983 and left us far too soon on September 1, 2024.
Jenny Linn was a mother of three beautiful children; Lillee Gracelinn, Brison Lee, and Karsyn Coffee-Lee, that she loved deeply. Her independent spirit and headstrong nature made her one-of-a-kind, leaving a lasting impression on anyone who knew her. She lived life on her own terms, and was a truly creative soul, with a unique flair that set her apart from everyone else. Her passion for music was contagious, and she had an incredible ability to connect with others through her love of songs, whether she was sharing a new favorite tune or belting out lyrics. She was always finding songs for the sound track of her life. Jenny was a proud member of Wild Horse Creek Camp Cowboy Church in Fannin County, where she attended bible study and sang in the choir.
Jenny had a generous heart. She was actively involved in charitable work with Relay for Life, dedicating her time and energy to supporting those affected by cancer. She was known for her spontaneous acts of kindness, often giving her leftover food to the homeless she encountered on the streets. In her passing, Jenny continued to touch lives through her generosity as an organ donor, giving the gift of life to others even in her final moments. Her legacy of kindness, bravery, and love will forever remain in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
Jenny is survived by her children: Lillee Gracelinn, Brison Lee, and Karsyn Coffee-Lee. Her mom: Robin Black (James). Siblings: Chelsea Whitman (Russell), Courtney Black, and Morgan Black (Will). Grandmothers: Pauletta Jolley and Patricia Gilbert. Aunts & Uncles: Gregg Mckinney, Sadie Jumper, Aunt Cheryl and Uncle Chris. Nieces: Page Black and Michelle Tanner. Nephews: Jaxson Sachs and William Smith. Beloved cousins: Nathanael Mckinney, Alayna Duffel (Andrew), Alisha, Amber, Ashley, Christie, Carrie, Clint, Drew, Gabriel, Jasmine, Jennifer, Jessica, Jordan, Josh, Logan, Michael Paul, Ryan,Tammy, Terrenia. Boyfriend: Darrow Mills and many other family members and friends who will miss her dearly.
Preceded in death by: Lilly Cantwell (Little Granny), Charles McKinney (Grandaddy), and Uncle Tracy Jumper. Great Grandparents: Paul and Jessie Jolley and Edna McKinney.
A celebration of Jenny Linn’s life will be held on Thursday, September 5th, 5PM-7PM at Eubank Funeral home,601 South 3rd Street, Mabank, Texas 75147, (903) 887-3111.
