Jerry Wayne Farley was born on January 27, 1950 in West Memphis, TN to parents Jesse Olen Farley and Norma Mildred Cohea and entered into eternal rest on August 21, 2015 at the age of 65. Jerry graduated from Irving High School and then joined the United States Marines; where he trained in the “Rey Eye Missile” program. He worked for Ingersol-Rand for 13 years. Family was very important to Jerry and he loved his wife, children and grandchildren immensely. Jerry enjoyed painting, wood working and playing video games. He loved shopping on QVC and was an avid reader. Jerry was a very loving and caring man who will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife Mary of Mabank, sons; Michael Shane Rector and wife Tonya of Mesquite and Shannon Lee Beck and wife Venus of Plano, nine grandchildren, brother William Farley and wife Sandy of Tupelo, MS, special cousin Patty Stewart of Plano, other loving family members and many more friends.
