Jimmy Alan Branscum

Born October 2, 1960, in Dallas, Texas, Jimmy was the son of Coy Gee Branscum and JoAnn Doyle Branscum. He grew up in Duncanville and graduated from Duncanville High School in 1978. A lifelong Dallas Cowboys fan, Jimmy was never far from a game, whether watching with family or talking highlights with friends.

Jimmy spent more than 30 years in the custom glass industry, where he took pride in his craft and built many lasting relationships. He was also known as a candy connoisseur, always keeping a sweet treat nearby. Outside of work, he enjoyed fishing and hunting with family and friends, and he found joy in watching his grandchildren’s many accomplishments.

He was preceded in death by his mother, JoAnn Doyle Branscum, and his wife, Samantha Gilmore Branscum. He is survived by his wife, Michelle; father, Coy Branscum, and wife Gloria; brother, Danny Branscum, and wife Denise; sons, Chad and wife Stacy, Blake and wife Kristen, Jerrod and Kiya; grandchildren, Ethan, Aidan, Corbin, Chloe, and Rowan; nephews, Coy and Joshua; and many extended family members and friends.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at Living Faith Lutheran Church, 2450 Presidential Pkwy, Unit 100, Midlothian, Texas. Visitation with the family will begin at 11 a.m., followed by the service at noon.
