Jody McCain

Josephine Rose Ficarro-McCain was born in Springfield, Massachusetts on May 5, 1942. She was one of ten children born to Richard and Mary Ficarro. Raised in Boston, she met James Kenneth McCain when he was in the Navy. They married on May 30, 1958. They had two beautiful daughters, Christine Marie Pace in 1960 and Sherry Lynn Pritchard in 1967. Kenny passed away February 4, 1994 and Christie passed away June11, 2016.

Jody was introduced to Christ by her husbands family when they married and he brought her to Texas. From that time on she spent her entire life spreading God's word, leading many others to the Lord and instilling the way to heaven in her family daily. She had an insatiable appetite to study the word and learn everything she could about the bible until the day she left this earth.

She is survived by her daughter, Sherry Lynn Pritchard (her worm). Her granddaughters Shelby Pritchard and her partner Ivan. Jordan Sutton and her husband Beau. Grandsons...Dustin Pace and his wife Lauren and their son Patriot. Derek Pace and his wife Kayrena and their daughter Chloe. Drew Pace and her son in law Robert Pace. Her well loved sister Toni Cohen and her brothers Anthony Ficarro and Alex (Jim) Bonet. She leaves numerous nieces and nephews whom she was close to. A very special thank you to her close friends Monte, Sheila, Alan, Delores, Linda, Chelsea, Rodney, Roma and Debra.

Her time at Beacon Church of Christ was one of the greatest joys of her life. Her church family meant more to her than they know and she can't wait to see you all again. She'll be waiting for all of us.

In leau of flowers or in addition to flowers the family has asked donations to be made to Camp Ida at Beacon Church of Christ.
