John Henry Anderson was born on October 26, 1970 in Rockford, IL to parents Ross Kay Anderson and Elaine Frances Carlson and entered into eternal rest on March 13, 2018 at the age of 47. John was a caring and loving, all around good guy with a great sense of humor, enjoyed all kinds of music, and an animal lover. He loved spending time with his mother and doted upon her every need. He was compassionate about everything he did, wore his heart on his sleeve and was very sentimental. John enjoyed food shopping, creating recipes, and cooking; he was an amazing chef. He liked being outdoors, kayaking, building and woodworking with his friend and neighbor Michael Flaharty, who together with his wife Annie, embraced John like a son. He was a proud member of Gateway Assembly of God in Trinidad, TX. He was a great friend to the members and enjoyed volunteering on construction projects and cooking for the annual fish fry. John will be missed by all those who knew and loved him.
John was preceded in death by his grandmother Kathleen May Orr.
He is survived by his mother Elaine Carlson of Trinidad, TX whom John lovingly referred to since his youth as Lady Elaine Fairchild; sister Sheila Bachrodt and husband Andy of Mabank, TX; sister Tammie Klein of Milwaukee, WI; sister Amy Hamilton of Clive, IA; 6 nieces and nephews, other loving family members and many more friends, and his adopted pet dog, Shelby.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests a small donation to the Humane Society of Cedar Creek Lake, 10200 County Rd 2403, Kemp, TX 75143.
