Mary Ann, I was so saddened to hear about the passing of your dad. We go back a long way and I remember being a little bit intimidated by him, but knew in my heart he was a wonderful and warm man. How could he be anything else having such a wonderful daughter and friend.
My sincerest condolences to you and your family during this sad time. Sending light, love and prayers. Teresa (aka Bum)

I did not know John Deatherage, but it's possible I knew his son Steve while attending St. Monica in Dallas in the 60s . I've tried to look him up to offer my support, but could not. I hope he sees this and knows people care.

Oh John, you were like a father to me. When I first went to work for the association back in 1991 you were there, such a wonderful man, and Beth, such a remarkable woman. I am so glad that you are back with the love of your life, and our Father God in Heaven. To Richard, God Bless you and your family for your loss and I thank you so much for sharing your father with me and the world. My heart breaks but he was such a blessing to anyone who knew him. I posted his passing to anyone that is my friend on FB that was associated with the Texas Asphalt Pavement Association. Please feel free to contact me 512-663-6619 and leave a message. I will call you back.
