Johnny Lloyd Carlisle was born in Dallas, TX on August 26, 1962 to parents J.L and Ruby (Capps) Carlisle, and entered into eternal rest on November 10, 2019 in Tyler, TX. He was a graduate from Odessa High School. Johnny was a strong man of faith and enjoyed talking to family and friends about that faith. He had three grandchildren and one on the way, he wanted more than anything to be there when his new grandchild was born. He was a family man and enjoyed time with his family; he was always taking them to dinner, whatever it took to spend time together. Johnny was a funny man who loved telling jokes and going to McDonalds to have coffee, he enjoyed getting to know the people who worked there. Johnny was fond of going on quiet walks so he could reflect on his relationship with the Lord. He was an entertainer, he loved singing, and playing music, he played the harmonica; he would go to nursing homes and churches to play music for the residents.
Johnny is preceded in death by his Parents, his Wife Sherry Crawford, Sister Ida Ruckman, Sister Janet Bryan and Great- Niece LillyAnn Bryan.
Johnny is survived by Daughter Andrea Adams of Mabank, TX, Son Jayme Carlisle of Mabank, TX, Grandchildren Katherine Adams, Landen Adams, Maghen Adams, and one more due in January, Sister Lisa Carlisle, Brother Jody Carlisle and many more other family members and lifelong friends.
