Karsen Evan Carruthers, age 19, of Waxahachie, Texas passed away on Tuesday, December 13, 2022. He was an adventurous and outgoing man; who loved fishing, spending time with family, and working. As a young boy, he enjoyed scary movies, Paint Balling, and golfing. Karsen was detail oriented and intelligent; he used his skills as a carpenter, remodeling homes. He had a huge and loving family, blended with two or more sets of everything. Karsen will be dearly missed by all of those he met and knew throughout his lifetime.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Kenn Carruthers and James Carroll.
Karsen is survived by his parents, Stacey McDowell, Randy Baker, Evan Carruthers, and Jacy Carruthers; sisters, Miranda Carter, and Andi Moss; brothers, Mason McDowell, Tanner McDaniels, Chase McDowell, Ryland McDaniels, Tristyn Tobin, Duke Carruthers, Ridge Carruthers, and Dylan Baker; grandparents, Vivian and Cecil Mothershed, Sherry Carruthers, Susan Carruthers, Trish Carroll, Randy Baker Sr., and Pam Baker; nieces, Alexa McDowell, Lakelyn Carter; along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, and other relatives.
A visitation for Karsen will be held Monday, December 19, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Eubank Cedar Creek, 601 S. 3rd St, Mabank, Texas 75147. A Funeral service will occur Tuesday, December 20, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Eubank Cedar Creek. Immediately following the service will be a burial at the Oaklawn Cemetery; located in Mabank, TX.
